The Interpretive Room of the Superintendent's Residence is a wealth of photographs, artifacts, and documents, such as these planting maps. (below)
Some of the photographs on display are from the early beginnings of the Sutherland Forest Nursery Station, when there was nothing but open prairie. (below)
The Main Interpretive room. In the left corner you'll see a refinished cabinet once used in the kitchen, now serving as a unique display case...also, you will be greeted to the house by Les Kerr (...well at least a cardboard representation of Mr. Kerr), the Nursery Station's last Superintendent. (Below)
Along with original structural and landscape blueprints of the residence, the drawings depict the interior/exterior restorations as well as proposed landscape improvements. (Below)
