Tree Storage Shed
Tree Storage Shed
Also known as the Auditorium, and more recently as the Hall.
This building was constructed and in use in the fall of 1949. The Tree Storage Shed is a single-storey, gable-roofed wood frame building on a concrete floor, with a large basement that was designed for cold storage of trees. The main floor was designed as an auditorium that could facilitate large gatherings.Â
The basement is currently used for equipment storage.
Its use as a gathering place continues today. Besides the addition of a freezer and washrooms, kitchen renovations and new siding there have been few major changes to the building.
