Pump House

By spring 2014 the Pump House was completed. A very modest building in scale and appearance it is a one-storeyd hipped roof wooden structure, 34 by 24 feet over a full basement, containing sewer and septic tank equipment and components of the water supply system. This building served as a source of heat, water and energy to the Nursery Station, and as a lunch room and storage area. Its primary purpose was to store well water and distribute it to the other buildings. A small boiler was used to heat the greenhouse.

Since the Station closed the Pump House has been resided and reroofed. It is currently used as a staff lounge.
